What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-565 in Huntsville, AL on January 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened when a ox truck and SUV collided under unclear circumstances. The box truck caught fire in the collision and one occupant was killed. The SUV driver was taken to an are hospital with injuries they died from later in the day. Police later identified the victims as 66-year-old Willie Nettles and 44-year-old Miguel Espinoza. No other information was available.
