What Happened

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a construction worker at I-10 and Guadalupe Rd in Guadalupe, AZ on May 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. According to investigators, a construction boom was attempting to cross into a shoulder when it was struck by a semi-truck. The collision caused the operator of the boom lift to be ejected from the cage, suffering fatal injuries as a result.
