What Happened

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials responded to the scene of an accident that killed a 10-year-old and injured two other people on I-17 in Phoenix, AZ on January 3rd, 2018. Authorities say the 10-year-old female killed was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck by a tractor-trailer. The driver and a 14-year-old boy in the car were both injured in the accident. Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
