What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at Hwy 412 in Washington County, AR on September 13h, 2023. Police say the incident happened in an area that was covered in fog.Officials say a vehicle occupied by 23-year-old Matthew Olinger was allegedly blocking the roadway for unconfirmed reasons. Officials say 24-year-old Noah Caldwell exited a separate vehicle to check on Olinger. An approaching semi-truck is to have struck by the vehicle and Caldwell, both suffering fatal injuries in the incident. Additional injuries were not reported.
