What Happened

Arkansas State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Hwy 412 in Benton County, AR on November 7th, 2023.  Police say the incident happened around 4:30 a.m. According to investigators, an Isuzu is alleged to have failed to slow in time before colliding with the rear of a tractor-trailer. Sources say the tractor-trailer was entering onto the highway from a shoulder and not at full highway speeds before the collision. The crash is said to have caused the Isuzu to catch fire, leaving the driver, 40-year-old William Hollingsworth, with fatal injuries. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
