What Happened

California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at State Route 74 and Amanda Ave in Winchester, CA on August 16th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:25 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed eastbound is said to have struck a pedestrian walking in or near the roadway. The pedestrian, a 34-year-old Pasadena man who was not publicly identified, was hospitalized with injuries he later died from. Additional details were not available.
