What Happened

Daly City police are investigating an accident that killed a garbage truck driver on Skyline Dr in Daly City, CA on January 16th, 2019. 58-year-old Mauricio Garcia Oropeza was operating a garbage truck when the truck rolled back and crushed him in between the truck and a parked vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The parked vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the accident.
