California Highway Patrol officials released the name of the driver killed in an accident involving a Caltrans dump-truck on Sand Canyon Rd in Santa Clarita, CA on January 23rd, 2019. Officials say Michael Shepard was killed when his Jeep collided with the rear of a Caltrans dump truck. The driver of the Caltrans vehicle was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
