What Happened

Colorado State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver on January 17th, 2019 in Colorado Springs, Co. Police say that crash occurred at N Academy Blvd and Palmer Park Blvd and involved two vehicles colliding at the intersection. 31-year-old Vincent Leon Meisman reportedly ran a red light, colliding with a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Joseph Tipton. Tipton was pronounced dead at the scene. Meisman was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, suspicion of careless driving and vehicular homicide.
