What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Hollyberry Lane in Plainville, CT on August 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9 a.m. Police say a tree-cutting crew was at the scene performing work when a bucket truck being utilized by the crew suffered mechanical issues. A worker in the boom attached the truck was seriously injured when they fell to the ground. Identified as 59-year-old Michael Holcomb, Holcomb was hospitalized with injuries he later died from.
