What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials released the name of the woman killed in a crash involving a semi-truck on I-75 in Marion County, FL on February 4th, 2019. 32-year-old Celia Diaz was killed when her vehicle struck the front of a semi-truck as both vehicles approached an exit ramp. Diaz was thrown from the vehicle in the impact. The driver of the semi-truck, 54-year-old Willie Spann and a passenger, Strelitzia Spann, were not injured.
