Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at State Route 62 in Hardee County, FL on April 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:46 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck is alleged to have veered from its lane before colliding with another vehicle. Following to the collision, the truck veered from the road into a nearby parking lot before hitting a parked truck. One person in the passenger vehicle was killed. The driver of the semi-truck suffered serious injuries while passengers in the pickup truck suffered injuries believed to be n0n-life-threatening in nature.
