What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at County Rd 165 in Jackson County, FL on January 3rd, 2023. Police say it happened just before 8 a.m. According to investigators, an unnamed 70-year-old Donalsonville, GA man was headed southbound before veering into a northbound for unknown reasons. After doing so, the vehicle struck a tractor-truck headed northbound. The collision left the Donalsonvolle man with fatal injuries and the other driver, a 58-year-old Sneads man, with serious injuries. Additional information was not provided.
