What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials released the name of the child killed in a dump truck accident in Hendry County, FL on January 6th, 2019. 12-year-old Noah Alvarado was killed when a semi-truck driven by 48-year-old Jaime Oliveros collided with Alvarado while he was riding a knee-board. Oliveros reportedly tried steering away, travelling off the road and into a ditch. Alvarado was pronounced dead at the scene. Additional information remains under investigation.
