What Happened

North Augusta Public Safety officials released the name of the driver killed in a semi-truck accident on I-20 in Augusta, GA on January 13th, 2019. 34-year-old Charles Starnes was seriously injured when his vehicle collided with the rear of a disabled 18-wheeler. He was transported to the hospital where he later died. The semi-truck driver was not injured.
