What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at GA 400 in Forsyth County, GA on September 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Investigators say a tractor-trailer operated by 61-year-old Charles Wilkins collided with the rear of a Nissan Rogue in traffic, causing a chain reaction collision involving three other vehicles. The impact caused one driver, identified as 65-year-old James Wright, fatal injuries at the scene. The other drivers involved were hospitalized with minor injuries.
