What Happened

State Police are currently investigating a three-vehicle crash that led to a death at State Route 32 in Irwinville, GA on January 8th, 2023. Officials believe it happened around 9:20 a.m. as a Ford Fusion was attempting to cross onto SR 32. Investigators say the Ford failed to yield while doing so, leading to a collision between it and an eastbound semi-truck. The impact sent the truck into a westbound lane where it struck a Ford F-350 operated by 38-year-old Randolph Gibbs. Gibbs suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The conditions of the other drivers was not stated.
