What Happened

DeKalb County Sheriff's Office officials responded to the scene of an accident that injured a man at N Cross Street in DeKalb, IL on December 31st, 2018. Police say 29-year-old Clinton S Jabaley was injured when his vehicle allegedly ran a red light before colliding with and going underneath a semi-truck driven by David M. Jones. Jabaley was hospitalized with serious injuries. He was then cited for several infractions, including failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, disobeying a traffic control device and illegal transportation of alcohol.
