What Happened

Illinois State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver on I-90 in Marengo, IL on January 30th, 2019. 43-year-old Lorne Hoover II was killed when his truck was struck by a semi-truck driven by 49-year-old Abdullahi Said. Police say Hoover's vehicle had hazard lights activated at the time of the rear-end collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
