What Happened

Illinois State Police released the name of the man killed in an accident involving a tractor and a semi-truck in Harrisburg, IL on January 6th, 2019. 60-year-old Raymond Boles was killed when his tractor collided with a semi-truck driven by Kevin Voelker. Police say Voelker, who was traveling at a high rate of speed, was reportedly distracted during the accident. Boles was airlifted to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries. Voelker was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash and faces potential additional charges.
