What Happened

Illinois State Police are investigating a crash that injured one driver on I-70 in Effingham County, IL on January 28th, 2019. Police say 31-year-old Patricia Brown was injured when the semi-truck she was driving rear-ended two other semi-trucks. Brown was transported to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries. She was later charged with following too closely and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash.
