What Happened

State Police have information on a crash that killed a driver at SR 37 in Judah, IN on January 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:59 p.m. Investigators say a tractor-trailer operated by 52-year-old Randal Schuyler was headed northbound on State Route 37. At the same time, a Nissan Altima operated by 64-year-old Katrena Cunningham was traveling westbound at Old State Route 37. The Altima was in the process of turning south onto SR 37 when it was struck by the truck at the intersection. Investigators allege the truck had a red light at the time of the crash and failed to stop. They also state there was rain and fog in the area at the time of the crash. Both drivers were taken to an area hospital where Cunningham later died. Additional information was not available.
