What Happened

Iowa State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at Hwy 3 and Hwy 143 near Marcus, IA on February 13th, 2020. Officials say the incident happened around 3:45 p.m. A vehicle driven by 26-year-old Alexa Brewster was making a turn when it was struck by a truck and pushed into a ditch. She was taken to an area hospital and died from her injuries.
