What Happened

Burlington Police Department officials responded to the scene of an accident that injured two people on Hwy 61 near West Burlington, IA on December 26th, 2018. Police say 70-year-old Delores Burgus was injured when her vehicle reportedly hit a box-truck after crossing a center line. Burgus was hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the box-truck, 32--year-old Derrick Moore was treated for injuries at the scene.
