What Happened

Sioux County Sheriff's Office officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Hwy 18 and Lily Ave near Boyden, IA on January 5th, 2019. Officials say 24-year-old Give Lewi was injured when his vehicle collided with a semi-truck at an intersection. Lewi was hospitalized with minor injuries. The truck driver, 41-year-old Jeremy Steuven was not reportedly treated for injuries. Lewi was cited for failing to obey a stop sign, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license and operating a vehicle without insurance.
