What Happened

Iowa State Patrol officials are investigating a crash near Floyd, IA that killed one person on December 19th, 2018. Police say 40-year-old Troy Reams was killed when his vehicle collided with the rear of a semi-truck driven by 58-year-old Stasys Sabaliauskis. EMS officials pronounced Reams dead that scene. The cause of the accident and details related to any additional injuries suffered have not yet been released.
