Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a driver at County Rd 11 and County Rd G in Seward County, KS on May 12th, 2023. Police say it happened around 5:48 p.m. Investigators say a semi-truck operated by 38-year-old Isidro Borbolla-Fierro was headed eastbound on County Rd 11. A Kia Optima operated by 19-year-old Jacob Ferrell was headed northbound on County Rd G. Police allege the semi-truck failed to yield at the intersection, colliding with the Kia in the process. The impact left the driver of the Kia, 19-year-old Jacob Ferrell, with injuries believed to be serious in nature. Borbolla-Fierro was not injured, according to police.
