What Happened

Kansas Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a driver at US Hwy 281 in Russell County, KS on October 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Mack cement truck operated by 28-year-old Mason David Roach was headed northbound on US 281 before veering from the road for unknown reasons. It then went tough a fence and overturned into a ditch. Roach suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
