State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at I-264 and Brownsboro Rd in Louisville, KY on January 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. According to investigators, a passenger vehicle was allegedly traveling at a high rate of speed prior to losing control in the eastbound lanes. Investigators were not able to say what they believe caused the vehicle to lose control. They say that the vehicle went through a center median and struck a semi-truck in the westbound lanes. The impact caused the truck to overturn in the median. The driver of the passenger vehicle was killed. The truck driver had non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.
