What Happened

Kentucky State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 60 near Irvington, KY on March 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:41 p.m. Officials say a Mack truck operated by 39-year-old Corey Calloway was headed eastbound before allegedly crossing a centerline. While attempting to travel back into its lane, it collided with a Honda operated by 21-year-old Jacob Gardner. Gardner suffered fatal injuries in the crash. It was not stated if Calloway was injured and both drivers were reportedly wearing seatbelts. Additional information was not provided.
