What Happened

Louisiana State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Hwy 507 in Bienville Parish, LA on February 2nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:30 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 43-year-old Edtreum Loyd was headed westbound before allegedly crossing a center line. The vehicle first veered from the road, forcing another truck to take evasive action. Both trucks collided before one struck a Nissan operated by 40-year-old Melissia Bolyer. The collision left Boiler with fatal injuries at the scene. Authorities arrested Loyd on a vehicular homicide charge.
