What Happened

Louisiana State Police released the name of the driver killed in a dump truck vs semi-truck on LA 3127 at LA 3213 on January 23rd, 2019. Officials say 51-year-old Toneka Terry was killed when her vehicle reportedly failed to yield and began making a turn. A dump truck then struck the vehicle on the drivers side, killing her in the impact. An 11-year-old passenger in the vehicle was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
