What Happened

Maryland State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-95 in Howard County, MD on September 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:40 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer is said to have collided with the rear of a second tractor-trailer parked on a shoulder. The driver of the first truck, identified as 63-year-old Jonathan David Leiner, suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The other driver was reportedly uninjured.
