What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two teens at Sanford St in Berkley, MA on March 27th, 2020. Officials say the incident happened around 6:10 p.m. Police believe 19-year-old Christian Couto was behind the wheel of a vehicle that lost control and crashed into a tree. The vehicle caught fire, killing Couto and one of his passengers, 18-year-old Devyn Crosby. A third passenger was hospitalized in stable condition.
