What Happened

Michigan State Police are investigating an early morning hit-and-run accident involving a semi-truck on I-69 near Girard Twp on December 31st, 2018. Police say a 46-year-old woman was injured when he vehicle was rear-ended by a semi-truck. The driver of the truck reportedly did not stop after the accident. The woman was taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital for her injuries.
