What Happened

Michigan State Police are investigating an accident involving a semi-truck that killed a woman near Detroit Metro Airport on December 28th, 2018. Officials say the 60-year-old woman was travelling east on Wick Road when her vehicle lost control at a curve and drove through a fence and entered the highway. It was then that her vehicle was struck by an oncoming semi-truck. The woman was killed at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
