What Happened

Minnesota State Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at Hwy 27 near Swanville, MN on September 12th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:46 a.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Tucson operated by 55-year-old Lashel Dawn Oliver was headed eastbound when it collided with a tractor-trailer under unclear circumstances. Oliver suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The other driver was not injured. Police say both drivers were wearing seatbelts and do not suspect alcohol as a factor in the crash.
