What Happened

Missouri State Highway Patrol officials are investigating an accident that killed one person in St. Charles County, MO on December 20th, 2018. 78-year-old Bette Wittich was killed when her vehicle was struck by a semi-truck. Wittich was later pronounced dead by EMS officials at the hospital. A 78-year-old male passenger in the vehicle with Wittich was also hospitalized with injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
