What Happened

State Police identified the person killed in a crash at Hwy 36 in Macon County, MO on September 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident involved a passenger vehicle colliding with the rear of a semi-truck stopped. Police say the driver stated the truck was suffering from mechanical issued at the time and was stopped for around 10 seconds before it was rear-ended by and SUV.
