What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at I-70 in Blue Springs, MO on November 15th, 2023. Police say the crash involved at least two semi-trucks and one of the trucks overturned. Reports indicate a pickup truck and fourth vehicle were also involved. Authorities were not able to provide a possible cause for the collision. It was stated a 72-year-old Montana man involved was seriously injured. Police also identified 28-year-old Robert Cox as the victim that suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
