What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at State Hwy 92 in Osceola, NE on August 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a Chevrolet Suburban headed westbound on Hwy 92 crossed a center line and crashed head-on into a tractor-trailer. After impact, the Suburban caught fire and the driver, identified as 41-year-old Dawn Dowhy, died at the scene. The semi-truck driver was hosptialized with minor injuries.
