What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed three people at I-80 in Omaha, NE on December 23rd, 2020. Officials say the incident happened during a winter storm in the area and involved and SUV losing control and crashing into a semi-truck. The SUV driver, 24-year-old Edgar Navarro suffered fatal injuries along with his 4-year-old daughter Alexa Navarro. 25-year-old Idayalid Bautista also suffered fatal injuries in the crash while his daughters, 3 and 11 months, were both treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
