What Happened

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police identified the woman killed in a bicycle accident on Desert Inn Rd and Swenson St in Las Vegas, NV on January 13th, 2019. 48-year-old Stephanie Sierad was seriously injured when her bicycle collided with a tire on a dump truck. The dump truck then overturned and toppled onto Sierad. She was transported to an area hospital where she later died from her injuries. The driver of the semi-truck, 36-year-old Michael Valesquez, was not injured.
