What Happened

New Mexico State Police released the name of the man killed in a multi-car crash on I-40 in Albuquerque, NM on January 2nd, 2019. 50-year-old Pat Cisneros was killed in the accident. Police say the accident occurred when Cisneros stopped to assist an officer responding to the scene of a previous crash after the officers vehicle was rear-ended. Cisneros, his tow-truck and the officer's cruiser were all then hit by another vehicle. The officer suffered minor injuries in the accident.
