What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at State Hwy 349 in Martin County, TX on December 29th,  2022. Police say the incident happened round 11:14 p.m. According to authorities a Mitsubishi Lancer operated by 38-year-old Eddie Garcia Saenz was headed southbound on State Hwy 349. The vehicle is alleged to have failed to control its speed and collided with a tractor-trailer slowing to turn right into a private drive. The collision left Saenz with fatal injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
