What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Drake Dr and Spofford Ave in the Bronx, NY on May 10th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda CR-V allegedly fled a traffic stop attempt by police before colliding with the rear of a parked tractor-trailer. The driver is alleged to have fled the scene on-foot following the crash while two passengers were left behind.
