What Happened

Area authorities identified the person killed in a crash at 82nd St and Second Ave in New York, NY on April 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened just before 6 a.m. Investigators say 47-year-old Scott Robert Edge was struck by a tractor-trailer while crossing at an intersection. Edge was hospitalized with injuries he died from on May 9th. Police say the driver of the truck remind at the scene for authorities and no charges have been filed at this time.
