New York State Police are investigating a garbage truck crash that injured a woman at the Hayts Rd and Hopkins Rd intersection in Ithaca, NY on January 31st, 2019. Officials say the woman;s vehicle lost control and slammed into the side of a garbage truck, pinning her inside. Once freed, she was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
