What Happened

New York State Police are investigating a crash that injured a woman on a motorcycle on the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway in Woodside, NY on February 7th, 2019. Officials say the 30-year-old woman was travelling along the expressway when she was struck by a tractor-trailer that then left the scene. The woman was then found by Queens police officer Mandeep Kaur and taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
