What Happened

New York State Police are investigating an accident involving a garbage truck that killed a pedestrian in the Bronx, NY on January 8th, 2019. Officials say a woman was killed when she was struck by a garbage truck at Willis Ave and E 138th St. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the garbage truck did not stop after the accident.
